Along with students from Rogers Heritage High School helping with the string section, over 70 orchestra, band and choir students from Rogers High School played for 1,179 fourth graders from 14 Rogers schools Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at Rogers High School. The objective of the concert, called Music Appreciation in Rogers Schools, or M.A.R.S, is to inspire students at an early age to be interested in music, introduce them to the different types of instruments or sections of choir and help them decide what instrument they would like to play.
