This blog is extremely late, and for that, I apologize. However, I still had to post a gallery from this assignment because it was AWESOME! I was photographing fundraisers who raised enough money for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Benton County to take the jump. I have never been skydiving before and after this, I want to more than ever!

As a photographer, it was a bit unnerving for be strapped into my own parachute “just in case,” but it was a necessity if I wanted to go up in the plane with the jumpers and instructors. Those at Skydive Skyranch were extremely flexible with letting me shoot photos from in the plane and on the ground around the landing zone.

I do regret not bringing a wider lens for inside the plane. It was an extremely tight space and I had to use a flash to balance the window light with interior light.
