Members of the Fayetteville Fire Department spent Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, preparing for upcoming testing for promotion to driver/operator at the department’s training facility at Drake Field. Firefighters are tested on their ability to navigate a cone obstacle course in a fire engine as well as their ability to pump water through an engine and set up and operate a ladder truck.
