Arkansas beats Missouri in thriller

Arkansas hosted Missouri for its first trip to Bud Walton Arena as a member of the Southeastern Conference Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, in Fayetteville. Arkansas coach Mike Anderson left Mizzou to return to Arkansas, making the return of the Tigers all the more meaningful.

The game was a sellout and the atmosphere was electric inside the arena. Arkansas fell behind during the first half, but took a small lead and them came from behind to win in thrilling fashion. The pressure of shooting games like these can be intense. One is guaranteed several writers and editors asking if a photo of a certain play is available, and it can be tough to get everything just so. Getting a lead photo that sums up a game like this can also be tricky. It might come down to a certain play at one end of the floor or another and one has to be lucky to get that photo. It takes taking a risk by choosing a certain lens over another or being in a certain place over another. Instinct plays a big role as does all the other times one has found oneself in this situation before. Being wrong or even being almost right in the past can help one make a decision about how to play the final moments of a game with the gravity that this one had.
