12-0 Bentonville hosted 9-3 defending state champions Fayetteville Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. I though the game could go either way – a perfect season for the Tigers or a back-to-back state championship for the Purple’Dogs. Either would have been cool to see, but alas, only one could prevail. While Bentonville drew first blood, two interceptions in the second half helped Fayetteville to win the game. Congrats to Fayetteville for their 31-20 win.

I was super pumped to shoot the Razorbacks for the first time ever in my life. One thing you learn quickly after moving to Arkansas is how important the Hawgs are around here. It was a pretty exciting game with numerous turnovers keeping everyone on their feet in the first quarter, but by the second quarter the Hawgs began their breakaway. Plus, Tyler Wilson broke the school record for passing yards in a season opener with 367 yards, so good job to him!

West Fork High School hosts Mayflower High School Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Tiger Stadium in West Fork. The game was high intensity with 3 touchdowns by each team in the first half alone. While I only was able to see the first half of the game, the Tigers didn’t let their 14-0 deficit get the best of them, coming back to win the game, 46-21.

Rogers High School takes on Springdale High School at Bulldog Stadium Friday night. From the half that I saw it was a pretty exciting games with at least 4 turnover – forced me to run back and forth up the sidelines quite a bit – but I love the intensity that comes out of situations like that.
