I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of times at Siloam Springs High School, and each time I feel like I am getting a better handle on how to light this huge (and might I add, awesome) gym. I was able to throw my lights across the court more than I usually so I had a decent amount of light to not only shoot the east side of the court but also the west. It’s a good thing I did too, because both the Siloam Springs boys and girls games were a ton of fun to shoot! I love games with a lot of aggression and hustle on the court. Both teams put a lot of pressure on their opponent’s offense the whole game, which made for some exciting scores (especially in the first quarters of each game) and some great shots! Tulsa Edison Preparatory School was also a joy to photograph because their boys team was very strong, fast, and skilled. My only regret is that I never got a chance to photograph a dunk.
